Having played on the very first Winery Tour back in 2007, Bic Runga returns to tour the vines once again. Bic will be celebrating her induction into the New Zealand Music Hall of Fame (the youngest ever inductee) and her brand new album Close Your Eyes (including the single of the same name), showcasing her interpretations of some of music’s most classic songs.
Bic Runga is one of New Zealand’s most lauded artists, a singer-songwriter with a natural flair for words and melody and a voice that defies age or current musical fashions.
Bic has won the most Tuis by a New Zealand solo artist – counting 20 throughout her career – including Album Of The Year for her debut Drive in 1997 and Best Female Vocalist on four separate occasions.
Bic won the APRA Silver Scroll in 1996 for her song Drive and has released four critically acclaimed albums, a live album, one B-side compilation, one Greatest Hits and has a brand new album Close Your Eyes out this November.
